Institute of Systems Engineering – Real Time Systems Group
The Institute of Systems Engineering (ISE) deals with the modelling, simulation, analysis and realisation of hardware and software architectures of complex and technical systems. The Real Time Systems Group (RTS) is part of the Institute of Systems Engineering.
The head of the department is Prof. Dr.-Ing. Bernardo Wagner.
RTS cooperates with the Mechatronik-Zentrum (MZH) of the Leibniz Universität Hannover in joint researches, projects and via technology exchange. Activities are focused on mobile service robots and automation technology. RTS is working in the area of 3 D environment perception, localisation and path finding for mobile robots, discrete event modelling, real time systems programming of embedded control devices and network-based industrial automation systems.
